Global expansion with a new partnership in Kenya

Collaboration Agreement Between United States International University-Africa (USIU) and TheFactor-Y (TFY)

TheFactor-Y is excited to announce its continued global expansion with a new partnership in Kenya. This week, I had the privilege of meeting Prof. Mwenda Ntarangwi, Vice Chancellor of the renowned United States International University-Africa (USIU) in Nairobi, to formalise a groundbreaking collaboration agreement.

This partnership marks the start of a close and strategic alliance aimed at fast-tracking the monetisation of intellectual property (IP) and patents developed by USIU’s talented students and innovators. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Mwenda Ntarangwi for his visionary speech and strong commitment during the signing ceremony.

I would also like to thank Dr. Kevit Desai and our business director for their invaluable contributions in preparing for this partnership through their network and contacts. Their support has been instrumental in making this collaboration a reality.

With over 6,000 students in Kenya alone, USIU offers a wealth of untapped potential. Through this partnership, these students, along with their alumni, will be encouraged to apply through TFY’s CBaaS® (Company Building as a Service) platform to become part of this transformative model. CBaaS introduces an alternative to traditional VC approaches by accelerating company creation, standardising funding processes, defining real market demand, and enabling timely exits. This focus on identifying and addressing actual market needs ensures that the IP developed can translate into sustainable and impactful businesses.

Here’s to building a future of transformative ideas and successful ventures!
